TfL works on Stoke Newington Road

We've received notification from Transport for London that there will be some works along Stoke Newington Road starting on Monday 2nd April.

The works will consist of:

  • Raised entry treatments at the end of Farleigh Road (due to complete by mid April)
  • New footways and kerbs at the end of Brighton Road and at the Shacklewell Road/Stoke Newington Road junction (due to complete by 29th June 2012)

Ringway Jacobs will be carrying out the works between the hours of 08.00 and 18.00 seven days a week (for Farleigh Road) and between the hours of 07.30 and 19.30 (Monday to Friday) for the other works. However there may be periods of time when there are no works physically taking place on site whilst they are allowing concrete to set.

TfL have said:

In order to maintain safe working, parking may need to be restricted where the works are being carried out. We shall endeavour to maintain property access, including shops, at all times.

We anticipate moderate disruption to vehicular traffic and to mitigate this, we will have advance warning signs in the area to pre-warn drivers of these works. All diversions will be clearly signposted locally.

If you have any concerns during the works and need to get hold of TfL, the number is: 0845 305 1234.
