Christmas events in Stoke Newington
It's snowing in Stoke Newington and the festive season is well underway with lots of fun things happening locally over the next few weeks.
There's a Winter Festival on from 2nd-5th December in St John at Hackney Church yard - there will be an ice rink - £4 for adults and £2.50 for children (which includes skate hire). The tickets can be purchased from the Hackney Empire box office.
Stoke Newington Common User Group are holding a winter fair this Saturday 4th from 2-5pm at St Michael and All Angels Church Hall. Admission is free and there will be festive songs and stories and lots of craft activities for everyone to enjoy.
The Christmas tree market is now up and running outside St Paul's Church on Amhurst Road as well as the Christmas fair next Saturday too.
Finally - there's a programme of Christmas events on at Stoke Newington Town Hall. A tea dance, a hoe down, a Christmas market, Cabaret, carols... and much more over the next few weeks. Full details online here.
