Grants for voluntary and community organisations
Applications are now open for grants for voluntary and community organisations in Hackney.
£750,000 of funding is available for local groups who can show that what they are proposing will reach vulnerable groups in Hackney. This could include anything from reducing child poverty and providing activiites for young people to helping older people to live independently, tackling fuel poverty, or helping people into work or training.
Organisations can apply for three levels of funding - £1-5,000; £6-15, 000 and £16-30,000.
The grants scheme is run by Team Hackney and administered by Hackney Council for Voluntary Services. The deadline is 12 noon on 28th May and you can download an application pack here. For advice on applying, call 020 7923 1962 or email email@example.com.
