Free film screening for Fairtrade Fortnight

As part of Fairtrade Fortnight, the Arcola Theatre and the Hackney and Tower Hamlets Fairtrade Groups present The Great African Scandal – a free film screening at 6.30pm tonight - Tuesday March 2 at St. Mark’s Church Hall, Dalston, E8 2NL.

This thought-provoking documentary asks “Why, 50 years after independence, Ghana, which is rich in minerals and is a stable democracy, is still one of the poorest countries in the world.”

Film goers are invited to stay and chat after the film screening and enjoy a cup of Fairtrade tea or coffee and a slice of cake.

For more information, please contact Rachel Carless, Arcola Theatre’s Sustainability Projects Manager, at rachel@arcolatheatre.com / 020 7503 1645.
