As part of Fairtrade Fortnight, the Arcola Theatre and the Hackney and Tower Hamlets Fairtrade Groups present The Great African Scandal – a free film screening at 6.30pm tonight - Tuesday March 2 at St. Mark’s Church Hall, Dalston, E8 2NL. This thought-provoking documentary asks “Why, 50 years after independence, Ghana, which is rich in minerals and is a stable democracy, is still one of the poorest countries in the world.”
Film goers are invited to stay and chat after the film screening and enjoy a cup of Fairtrade tea or coffee and a slice of cake.
