Groundwork have pulled together the results from the consultation on Kynaston Gardens and their plans were on display at the Farmer's Market over the weekend.
Nearly a 100 local residents responded and a variety of views were expressed. The overwhelming majority wanted to keep the Gardens as a local park, but to improve the opportunities for children to play, and provide better seating so people can stop and rest in the Gardens. The plans stressed the need to really clean up the Gardens and help to reclaim it for community use.
We'll keep you posted as Groundwork enter the next stages of the project - but we're really pleased that so many people came forward to have their say.
