Two more licence applications


The Prince on Kynaston Road has put in an application to vary its existing premises licence to allow the supply of alcohol and recorded music from:
  • 10:00 to 23:00 Mon to Thurs
  • 10:00 to 00:00 Fri, Sat and Bank Holiday Mondays
  • 10:00 to 22:30 Sun
The venue would also like to remove some of the conditions on its licence, including the ones that restrict the hours of use of the conservatory (currently to 23:00) and the courtyard (currently to 20:00), and that the first floor bar area is not to be used for live entertainment, music or dancing. Mount Strive Restaurant and Banque at 92 Stoke Newington High Street, has put in an application to allow supply of alcohol, live music, recorded music, any entertainment of a similar description and facilities for dancing from:
  • 12:00 to 23:30 Sun to Thurs, 2:00 to 02:00 Fri and Sat and 12:00 to 03:00 on Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve
  • late night refreshment from 00:00 to 02:00 Sun to Thurs and 00:00 to 03:00 Fri, Sat, Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve.
Representations must be made in writing, and should be sent to: The Licensing Service, 263 Mare Street, London E8 3HT by the closing date. Alternatively, you can email it to licensing@hackney.gov.uk. The closing date for representations on the Prince application is 24th November and for Mount Strive, 25th November 2009.
