Neighbourhood meetings in Stoke Newington

Stoke Newington Neighbourhood Forum takes place this Thursday at 7pm in Abney Hall on Church Street.

These are quarterly meetings for residents to come along and discuss issues that affect the whole of our neighbourhood.

Items on the agenda include an update on the Sustainable Communities Act and the work Hackney is doing to tackle the concentration of betting shops; crime and anti social behaviour in Stoke Newington and Dalston and health and social care services in Hackney. The full agenda is
here. Cllr Louisa Thomson will be chairing this meeting.

On the same night, there is a Stoke Newington Housing Panel meeting at 7pm at the Howard Road Resource Centre. This will focus on issues around grounds maintenance and cleaning on estates - holding the neighbourhood offices to account for the services they deliver to residents. For more information, email the Panel on stokenpanel@hotmail.co.uk.
