Summer activities for young people in Stoke Newington

There are a wide range of activities being organised across Hackney this summer for young people to take part in over the holidays.
As well as playschemes, free swimming for under 16s, events at libraries and museums (see here for more info) there are sports, singing, dancing, art and crafts activites at youth clubs and venues in every neighbourhood. You can download the full guide to what's on here.

In Stoke Newington there are sports programmes in Clissold Park, events at the Arcola theatre, Shakespeare Walk Adventure Playground, alongside the two existing youth clubs in the ward - Smalley Road Youth Project, every Sat 6-9pm at the Old Fire Station; and Yorkshire Grove youth project at the Communist hall, Tues, Thurs and Sat from 6.30pm - 9.30pm.

There is also a brand new website created by young people in Hackney - see here for more information. This includes information about the current round of Youth Opportunity Fund grants - the deadline is 30th July.
