Dalston Mill and Arcola Green Sunday

Green Sunday is taking place this Sunday - 2nd August from 3-7.30pm - outside the Dalston Mill.

It's organised by the Arcola theatre and is an informal and friendly meeting place for minds and projects in arts and sustainability. As well as a Swap Shop, live capoeria perfromances and music, Dr Bike will be presemt on Sunday to provide bike MOT checks.

Dalston Mill is a 16-metre high windmill by the peace mural on Dalston Lane. It's been created by experimental architectural artists EXYZT as part of Hackney’s CREATE09 Festival.
With around 60 rotations per minute, the windmill produces enough electricity to grind wheat to make flour and bake bread. The project runs until Thursday 6 August and is free to attend.
